**Position: Content Creator**

**Hours**: ~20 hours per week
**Works with**: Designer/Editing team, Ambassadors, Trainers, and Gym Manager

**Role Overview**

Momentum is looking for a dynamic content creator and trend-spotter to capture our brand's energy on the gym floor and online. This role is equal parts **storyteller, director, and community builder** — you'll bring our members' journeys to life, direct the editing team to polish and publish, and manage our ambassador crew to ensure they're delivering results.

**Key Responsibilities**

**Content Capture & Direction**
- Be the "eyes and ears" on the gym floor, capturing authentic, trend-driven content (Reels, TikToks, shorts, stories, etc.).
- Direct the editing team with clear briefs, shot lists, and content outlines.
- Ensure all content feels on-brand and aligned with Momentum's voice.

**Trendspotting & Storytelling**
- Stay ahead of fitness + lifestyle trends, sounds, and formats to keep Momentum relevant.
- Turn everyday gym moments into compelling, narrative-driven content.
- Build campaigns around challenges, events, and member milestones.

**Ambassador Management**
- Be the point of contact for all Momentum ambassadors.
- Hold them accountable to deliverables (story tags, referral pushes, content creation).
- Organize monthly content shoots and group/community activations.
- Track ambassador referrals, engagement, and performance.

**Collaboration**
- Work closely with the editing team to balance design/editing with raw storytelling.
- Support the Digital Marketing Manager with campaign execution.
- Liaise with trainers, staff, and members to keep content authentic.

**Reporting & Optimisation**
- Track content performance, ambassador activity, and engagement metrics.
- Recommend adjustments to improve reach, impact, and ROI.

**Skills & Attributes**
- Deep understanding of Instagram, TikTok, YouTube algorithms and trends.
- Strong storytelling instincts — can capture emotion, not just footage.
- Confident filming on iPhone/pro cameras and directing talent.
- Ability to write simple briefs for editors, giving them the raw story and direction.
- Excellent communication and community management skills.
- Organised — can juggle content planning with ambassador accountability.
- Passion for fitness, health, and wellness.

**Requirements**:

- 1-2+ years in content creation, influencer management, or social media.
- Portfolio or examples of content that performed well online.
- Comfortable working onsite at the gym with flexible hours (around events, peak times).
- Available ~20 hours per week.
