St Johns Park Bowling Club is a leading employer in the hospitality industry in South-Western Sydney. An exciting part-time or casual opportunity for a team-oriented Club Attendant / Relief Club Supervisor has become available to join our Operations Team.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Club Attendant**:

- **Gaming**: Assist with resolving customer queries related to gaming (e.g., poker machines, TAB, Keno).
- **Bar**: Supply, dispense, or mix liquor and beverages, clean bar areas and equipment, prepare the bar for service, take orders, and serve drinks.
- **Bistro**: Perform general waiting duties, including cleaning bistro equipment, preparing tables, taking customer orders, serving food and beverages, clearing tables, and greeting and seating guests.
- **GPU**: Perform general cleaning duties, such as picking up glasses, emptying ashtrays, and wiping tables.

**Relief Club Supervisor**:

- Support the Duty Manager with daily operations across the Club, including promotions, bar, gaming, TAB, Keno, catering, etc.
- Assist with training and coaching staff, providing performance feedback.
- Resolve conflicts with customers and employees.
- Delegate tasks to employees in accordance with Club standards.
- Handle sensitive/confidential information.
- Provide high levels of customer service to our members and guests.
- Perform ad hoc duties as needed.

This role is covered by the St Johns Park Bowling Club Enterprise Agreement, generous employee benefits, including:

**Criteria for Applicants**:

- Previous experience in a club environment with sound knowledge of club operations.
- Flexibility in picking up shifts, including weekends, public holidays, open, and close.
- Confidence in handling confrontational and/or difficult situations.
- Current RSA/RCG and TAB Corp basics.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Effective troubleshooting skills with the ability to remain calm and focused under pressure.
- Working knowledge of compliance with OLGR, RSA and RCG, harassment and bullying regulations, etc.

**Job Type**: Casual

Expected hours: 30 - 35 per week

- Public holidays
- Rotating roster
- Shift work
