**The Opportunity**:
We are currently seeking a Fabrication Apprentice to join **Rapid Perforating** who are a proudly Australian owned and operated company specialising in perforated metal, treadplate, handrails, gantries, and expanded metal products.

The role will be based in their workshop in **Ingleburn**, 40 kilometres south-west of Sydney CBD.

**Job Details**:
Working under the direction of your supervisor, duties will include:

- Learning all the intricacies of cutting, grinding, welding, and bending steel in an engineering workshop
- Light fabrication work
- Perforated sheeting and steel fabrication work using a wide range of metals such as aluminium, stainless steel, mild steel, and colour bond sheeting
- Using a range of machinery as well as hand and power tools
- Interpreting drawings
- General workshop duties

Undertaking this **four-year apprenticeship** will give you the opportunity to become a qualified Fabricator and earn your **MEM30322 Certificate III in Engineering - Fabrication Trade**.

- Relative work experience or in a school environment a plus
- Good safety awareness
