role at Veritext Legal Solutions. You are a highly motivated and compassionate Support Worker with full and flexible availability to work across a 24/7 rotating roster that includes sleepovers, active nights, weekends, and public holidays. Join our team in a casual capacity, with the potential to move to a permanent part time role for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
Delivering high-quality support services to customers with disabilities.
Assisting clients in their daily living activities, such as personal care, mobility, and skill development.
Promoting community integration and supporting clients in accessing social and recreational activities.
Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualised support plans.
Encouraging independence and empowering clients to achieve their personal goals.
Advocating for the rights and needs of individuals with disabilities.
About You
Certificate III in Community Serv or Equivalent ideal or willing to obtain.
6 months experience required—ideal for candidates ready to learn on the job, with buddy shifts provided for support.
Require a level of fitness for manual handling.
Have as much availability as possible, including sleepovers and active nights (must be able to work nights) and day shifts during the weekend.
Possess or willing to obtain a NDIS Worker Screening Check (NDISWSC).
Possess or willing to obtain a Working with Children Check (WWCC).
Hold a current and valid CPR and First Aid certificate.
Have a full driver's licence.
Have valid work rights.
Successfully complete the NDIS Quality, Safety & You module.
Passionate about human rights and creating positive change.
Empathetic and compassionate, with a keen understanding of diverse experiences.
Excellent communication skills to be the voice that resonates with others.
Enthusiastic team player, eager to collaborate and inspire.
