Job Summary

This position is specifically for a junior apprentice between the ages of 18 and 20, requiring a valid driver's license and access to a vehicle for commuting to job sites. As a 1st Year Junior Apprentice Carpenter, you'll begin your journey in the construction industry, gaining hands-on experience under the guidance of experienced mentors. You'll assist in the construction, assembly, and repair of structures using wood and various materials, laying a solid foundation for your career in carpentry.

Role Description

As a 1st Year Apprentice Carpenter, your role involves supporting experienced carpenters in construction tasks such as interpreting technical drawings, measuring, cutting, and assembling materials for various projects. You'll operate basic hand tools (hammer, tape measure) and learn to use power tools (saw, drill) under supervision. Following safety procedures, maintaining cleanliness, and assisting in material handling are key aspects of this role. Your eagerness to learn and adapt will be essential in mastering these foundational skills.
