Excellent opportunity with an ASAP start, initial 6 month contract with scope for extension.

**About the Role**
- Ensure delivery of timely, accurate and high quality data products and reports
- Present complex concepts ideas and issues in clear confident and timely manner
- Undertake complex statistical and analytic projects to monitor the department progress against key outcomes
- Contribute to the establishment and continuous improvement of data collection systems to support business and policy needs of the department
- Identify data gaps and lead the development of new data sources
- Identify data required to support improvements in monitoring of Department's key outcomes
- Develop briefs on strategic issues and risks that provide options for decision making and risk management within the organisation
- Develop departmental, divisional or team performance goals and targets
- Participate in strategic planning activities and contribute to strategic decision making processes

- Understands issues and pressures to which the organisation has to respond
- Understands the reasons behind the organisational climate and culture
- Finds innovative solutions to resolve stakeholder issues
- Identifies and responds to stakeholder's underlying needs
- Identifies issues in common for one or more stakeholders and uses to build mutually beneficial partnerships
- Uses understanding of the stakeholder's organisational context to ensure outcomes are achieved
