**How will I help?**

Supporting Group Procurement & Corporate Services, the Executive Commercial Manager takes accountability for a Category of procurement external spend withing the Professional Services and BPO Portfolio. As a Category team, proactively take accountability for any categories of spend as assigned including all commodities / services included with the category, contracts and sourcing activities and partner relationships associated with the category.

**Key Responsibilities include**:

- Strategic category plans for all major spend categories - developed in conjunction with and endorsed by business stakeholders.
- Sourcing strategies developed in alignment with the strategic category plans approved prior to formal market approach.
- Pipeline accuracy of contract execution and contract coverage for spend categories.
- Contract and commercial management compliance and partner governance activities.
- Satisfactory first line of defence reviews of responsible sourcing, risk register, supplier health risk assessments, contractual obligations.
- Managing and developing team members in effective delivery of category outcomes.
- Sustainability benefits and commercial benefits are determined and delivered.

**What do I need?**
- Extensive experience in professional services procurement.
- Proven ability in developing and implementing sourcing strategy.
- Proven leadership experience, managing senior commercial managers and commercial managers.
- A high level of stakeholder engagement, flexibility, and people management.
- A can-do attitude and willingness to develop/mentor your team.
- Tertiary qualification in IT, business management or legal studies is desired but not essential.
