At NOVON we are looking for a Mid - Senior AWS Specialist with deep expertise in DevOps and Kubernetes to join our team.This is a critical role where you'll help architect and deliver zero-downtime deployments, robust CI/CD pipelines, and fail-safe infrastructure solutions for enterprise-grade systems.What you'll do:Develop high-availability solutions using Kubernetes and DevOps tools to support mission-critical applications.Build and improve zero-downtime deployment processes, streamline CI/CD pipelines, and support infrastructure as a code (IaaC).
Enhance monitoring systems, identify performance bottlenecks, and optimize for reliability and scalability.Support the creation and testing of incident response plans for system and application failures.Work cross-functionally with developers, sysadmins, and data engineers to uplift resilience and automation capabilities.Assist in developing and maintaining technical documentation to support evolving systems and operational readiness.What you'll have:Experience in DevOps, Kubernetes and AWS EKSHands-on experience managing and orchestrating containers in production environments.Proficiency with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Bamboo, GitLab CI/CD; configuration and automation tools like Ansible and Terraform.Expertise with AWS Infrastructure (IaaS, CaaS, PaaS).
Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.Proven ability to design systems for high availability, fault tolerance, and disaster recovery.Clear communicator and effective team player with the ability to share complex technical concepts with diverse audiences.Nice to Have:Experience with AWS Data Services such as Glue, Redshift, and S3Familiarity with Data Platform Migrations, ex: migrating Hive Meta store to AWS Glue Data Catalogue, and supporting technologies like Airflow, Spark, or Starburst/Presto.Why NOVON?
