Are you passionate about building resilient, scalable infrastructure? Do you thrive in high-impact environments where automation, reliability, and uptime are key? At NOVON we are looking for a Mid - Senior AWS Specialist with deep expertise in DevOps and Kubernetes to join our team.

This is a critical role where you'll help architect and deliver zero-downtime deployments, robust CI/CD pipelines, and fail-safe infrastructure solutions for enterprise-grade systems.

What you'll do:

• Develop high-availability solutions using Kubernetes and DevOps tools to support mission-critical applications.
• Build and improve zero-downtime deployment processes, streamline CI/CD pipelines, and support infrastructure as a code (IaaC).
• Enhance monitoring systems, identify performance bottlenecks, and optimize for reliability and scalability.
• Support the creation and testing of incident response plans for system and application failures.
• Work cross-functionally with developers, sysadmins, and data engineers to uplift resilience and automation capabilities.
• Assist in developing and maintaining technical documentation to support evolving systems and operational readiness.
  
  

What you'll have:

• Experience in DevOps, Kubernetes and AWS EKS
• Hands-on experience managing and orchestrating containers in production environments.
• Proficiency with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Bamboo, GitLab CI/CD; configuration and automation tools like Ansible and Terraform.
• Expertise with AWS Infrastructure (IaaS, CaaS, PaaS).
• Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Proven ability to design systems for high availability, fault tolerance, and disaster recovery.
• Clear communicator and effective team player with the ability to share complex technical concepts with diverse audiences.
  
  

Nice to Have:

• Experience with AWS Data Services such as Glue, Redshift, and S3
• Familiarity with Data Platform Migrations, ex: migrating Hive Meta store to AWS Glue Data Catalogue, and supporting technologies like Airflow, Spark, or Starburst/Presto.
