**About the role**:
Our client is a world leader in flooring solutions, they design, manufacture and market innovative eco friendly interior finishes. They are well established in over 100 countries and are looking to expand by appointing a talented **Specification Manager.**

This is a diverse role where you will be building strong strategic long term relationships with architects, designers, builders, developers, contractors and installers increasing brand awareness, securing and upholding product specifications and driving sales** **Given the nature of the role daily travel throughout metropolitan NSW will be required servicing our existing customer base, sourcing new business opportunities and achieving sales targets.

**Your responsibilities will include**:

- Lead the business development activity in your territory and support the sales effort to achieve the ANZ Budget
- Manage the end-to-end process of the commercial business plan in your territory to ensure it is delivered on time
- Identify new business opportunities
- Capitalise on the clients expertise and products to offer high value solutions to its customers
- Be able to promote and sell the packaged solutions
- Execute Key Strategies set by the National Sales Manager
- Be able to communicate with Architects, Builders and Contractors

**Key Selection Criteria**:

- Strong understanding of the specification process from specifying with architects through to following it through with builders and end users.
- Strong presentation and negotiation skills and comfortable speaking to relevant decision makers.
- Previous Specification Management experience (desired)
- Articulate, responsible and polished approach
- A results driven, proactive attitude is a must
