About The PositionWe are currently seeking a motivated and energetic warehouse operator to join our team in Murwillumbah.
This position is on a casual basis and shifts start from 6:30am.The successful candidate will be reporting to the DC & Supply Chain Supervisor and will support our distribution team.
The warehouse is made up of a dedicated loading/unloading bay within the warehouse space, with an additional racking system for bulk storage of finished goods.
We use both conventional forklifts & a side loader to load & unload trucks as well as store material in high bay racking & bulk storage.
Experience in the operation of both types of equipment is highly desirable.
Some basic experience with administrative tasks and computer skills would also be helpful for the role on offer.Key Responsibilities IncludeAccurately and efficiently picking and packing orders to ensure timely delivery.Loading / unloading of vehicles and managing paperwork.General warehouse duties to maintain a safe and effective workplace.Receipting and invoicing inventory.Inventory Management - including stocktakes and rotation of stock.Maintaining housekeeping and safety standards within the warehouse.Safe loading, unloading and storing of stockAbout YouExperience with a Side Loader and a current forklift licence are essentialAbility to work independently and a positive attitudeYou will have a strong commitment to safety in the workplaceGreat organisational skills coupled with excellent communication and problem solving skills will ensure success in this roleMS Windows experience.Have a flexible approach, work hard and embrace new challenges.Ability to work effectively within a team environment.What we can offer you:A competitive hourly rate.Work in an established business in Murwillumbah.A positive work environment with supportive managementA social and friendly team who host site BBQ's and participate local sporting competitionsA company who values employee health, safety and wellbeing.About UsJoin our team and be part of a diversified group with over 30 years of experience leading the way in the forestry, agricultural, and permaculture industries.
