Overview
ScaleUp is recruiting for two C# developers to join a global trading business.
The role involves building complex proprietary software applications that support traders, focusing on backend C# with opportunities to work with other technologies (e.g., React, TypeScript).
This is an end-to-end, full-stack position where you will collaborate with traders, researchers and other business units to gather requirements and deliver solutions that improve trading processes and analytics.
Location: Barangaroo, Australia.
Employment type: Full-time.
Salary: A$150,000 – A$180,000 + super + bonus.

Responsibilities
Develop web applications with C# and related technologies (.NET).
Design, profile, and implement OO programming, multi-threading, and UI development for client and server sides.
Leverage WPF or other desktop technologies as applicable.
Develop web scraping or web server applications to support services, including data analysis and logging.
Work on web technologies (HTML, JavaScript, React) and deploying .
NET Core applications on Linux.
Collaborate with traders, researchers and other business units to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
Contribute to building proprietary tools for analysing newsfeeds/data feeds, visualising reporting, trade monitoring and messaging to support trading decisions.
Qualifications
Experience developing web applications with C# and .
NET.
Experience with design, profiling, OO design, multi-threading, and full-stack UI development for client and server sides.
WPF experience or experience with other desktop applications is an advantage.
Experience in web scraping or web server application development is desirable.
Understanding of web technologies, HTML and JavaScript (e.g., React).
Experience deploying and running .
NET Core applications on Linux.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills for daily collaboration with team members.
Bachelor's Degree (or higher) in a technical or related discipline.
Additional Information
This is a permanent full-time position based in Sydney, Australia with salary between A$150,000 and A$180,000 plus super and bonus.
This role is office-based in Barangaroo.
