An excellent opportunity to join Equans, an expanding multinational business, where you will be part of the growing Electrical & Communication team in Adelaide.Equans Electrical and Communications are seeking a skilled Communications Technician to join a team of Electricians and Data Communications Technicians based at Thebarton.

Find out more about Equans ANZ by visiting our website.Role OverviewInstall, test, and commission various cabling and communication cabling systems in a commercial environment.Work a combination of day and night shifts.Collaborate with a team to deliver communication projects according to company standards and project timelines.Proactively address customer concerns.Establish and maintain relationships with customers, colleagues, and managers.Prioritize tasks and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.About YouPrevious experience as a Communications Technician in a commercial setting.Proficient in terminating and testing fibre optic cabling.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Interested in working on large sites and substantial projects with Tier 1 clients.Benefits of the RoleCompany vehicle, fuel card, and mobile phone provided.Covered by an Enterprise Bargaining Agreement with benefits such as: generous hourly rates, a 40-hour workweek with 4 hours accrued towards a fortnightly RDO, daily travel allowances, overtime, and shift penalty rates.Qualifications, Licenses, and SkillsCert III in Telecommunications Cabling.Open Cable Registration with endorsements in Structured Cabling and Co-axial (Desirable), Fibre (Desirable).
White Card (Construction Induction Card).
Elevated Work Platform (EWP).
Working at Heights Certificate (Desirable).
Current Driver's Licence (Mandatory).
NV1 Clearance (Defence) (Highly Desirable).
CPR / LVR (Highly Desirable).
