From operations and maintenance to asset management and fuel supply services, our team's expertise ensures we deliver effectively and sustainably.As a result of expanding scope of works within UGL's portfolio, we are seeking a Hazardous Area Electrician to join our Operations & Maintenance team at RAAF Amberley in SEQLD.This would be an exciting and unique opportunity to work in the Australia Defence environment to support the national security requirements of the Nation.
Benefit from the opportunity to work with a Tier 1 services provider in a long-term, operations and maintenance contract.The Role Reporting to a Maintenance Supervisor, you will be based at RAAF Amberley supporting surrounding locations in the SEQLD region, with occasional regional travel.
You will be a part of a core crew of UGL technicians.
These duties will include, but not limited to; Perform scheduled electrical maintenance and service of fuel installation assets and equipmentDiagnostics and repair in a breakdown environment of fuel related assets and equipmentElectrical Project work as required on the fuel installation and related assets and equipmentSupport subcontracted work packages as requiredSupport various sites in the region, with the occasional requirement to travel throughout QLD.The Rates:New Rates as of 1st July 2025Maintenance Trades (Electrical) Level 1 - $45.74 p/h + Super - Plus Licence Allowance (50.40 Weekly) & Tool Allowance ($36.43 Weekly)Level 2 - $49.34 p/h + Super - Plus Licence Allowance (50.40 Weekly) & Tool Allowance ($36.43 Weekly)Level 3 (Dual Trade) - $52.95 p/h + Super - Plus Licence Allowance (50.40 Weekly) & Tool Allowance ($36.43 Weekly)What you Need You will be a strong team player, a self-starter and dedicated employee that will draw on your experience and diverse skills to deliver high quality outcomes for UGL and our customer.
We expect the successful applicants to have the followingA-grade electrical licence with relevant post trade experienceElectrical Equipment in Hazardous Areas (EEHA) trained requiredProven experience working in fixed plant maintenance, ideally fuel services or Oil & GasConfined space and working at heights tickets will be highly regardedSafety is at the forefront of everything you do
