Our client is a proudly Western Australian–based, ASX-listed gold mining and exploration company operating a high-performing gold mine.
They are seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Planner to support operations through effective planning, scheduling and continuous improvement.
This is a strategic, hands-on role focused on fixed plant maintenance within a gold processing environment.
You'll help lift operational efficiency, improve equipment reliability and support production targets.
Skills & experience Previous experience in a fixed plant planning/scheduling role within a gold mining environment.
Mechanical Trade Certificate.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage across operations and maintenance.
Sound knowledge of safety regulations and industry standards.
Proven ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Position Duties: Develop, implement and maintain short- and long-term maintenance plans.
Extract, analyse and present monthly reports on plant and team performance Monitor schedules and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
Assist with long-term budget forecasts and maintenance strategies.
Plan and estimate tasks proactively to ensure maintenance KPIs and production targets are met.
Establish and manage a consistent process for task planning, including procurement of materials, equipment and labour.
Proficient with CMMS and maintenance planning tools.
