**The Company**

They place a high emphasis on employee development, training and mentoring and are currently looking to bring on a Bid Manager who will play a key role in the business.

**The Role**:

- Bid Manager is responsible for the proposal of bids to existing or prospective clients for projects and plays a key role in progressing deals by managing the proposals and formal bids delivered to potential clients.
- The Bid Manager is to take ownership of the end to end proposal/bid process, including developing the pursuit schedule and managing performance against process milestones and is responsible for submitting a completed bid on time and within budget.
- The Bid Manager is to ensure all clients' questions have been answered as fully as possible and the company has given itself the best possible chance of success.
- Responsible for compiling all documentation and preparing tender submissions for approval
- Create outstanding and memorable bid documents
- Maintain and update bid & strategy documentation
- Ensuring alerts to tenders, the development of responses and client questions are answered promptly and accurately
- Leading and running bid meetings
- Guide those involved in the tender process, provide timely advice on the selection of appropriate projects, review and improve construction methodologies that win tenders.

**To Be Considered**:

- Extensive experience within Estimation for commercial fit outs, Bid Management & co-ordination.
- High level of understanding of construction methodologies, programs and pricing.
- High level of attention to detail and be able to meet tight deadlines
- Must have experience in Australian market
- Experience in creating and designing high level bid documentation
