**About the role**
TAFE NSW has an exciting temporary full-time opportunity for motivated individuals with current experience in primary or high school environments, to collaborate with our experienced Teachers and Head Teachers to carry out student assessments as an Assessor, located at the Strathfield Campus.
Your role will include assessment strategy implementation, independent assessments, and identifying gaps that may require further teacher support.
**_ Note_**_: This role does not teach or deliver training._

**To be successful in the role you must have**:
- TAE10 Assessor Skill Set or equivalent TAE40116.
- Current experience in primary or high school environments.
- Certificate III or Certificate IV in School Based Education or above.
- Commitment to develop VET knowledge and skills as well as maintain industry currency and assessor competence.
- Ability to meet all the Essential Requirements as outlined in the position description.
It is highly desirable that you have an Educational Degree.? However, this is not essential.
