This pivotal role will shape the face of our company through comprehensive training and performance development.Key ResponsibilitiesInduct and train new drivers in the Smartways Standard, ensuring they master safe driving practices, fatigue management, and operational proceduresConduct bi-yearly/annual ride-alongs and on-road assessments to evaluate driving behaviour and complianceProvide honest, constructive feedback that builds driver confidence and performanceMaintain detailed training records and audit reports to track progressEngage with hospital staff and clients to gather feedback on service qualityStay current with industry regulations and transport compliance requirementsFoster a culture of safety, professionalism, and accountabilityWhat You'll BringProfessional driving experience and/or background in driver training or supervisionStrong knowledge of transport legislation and logistics best practicesExcellent communication skills with the ability to instruct and influence othersCapability to deliver frank, respectful feedback that drives improvementCompetency with telematics, in-cab systems, and basic office softwareHigh level of integrity, patience, and professionalismTraining certification or adult education qualifications (preferred but not essential)The Ideal CandidateYou're someone who understands that different people learn differently.
