We are seeking a Warehouse Operations Manager to oversee the efficient management of our warehouse operations.
Job Description
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that inventory is accurately tracked and efficiently managed, contributing to the overall success of supply chain operations.
This role involves overseeing the storage, distribution, and inventory management of goods, while also leading a team to maintain efficiency and safety standards.
A Warehouse Manager plays a crucial role in optimising warehouse operations, implementing best practices, and ensuring that the right products are delivered to the right locations on time.
Inventory Management – Counts incoming stock, reconciles it with requisitions, and updates inventory and stock location records.
Operational Procedures – Establishes and coordinates operating procedures for receiving, handling, storing, and shipping goods.
Team Leadership – Directs staff activities, monitors their performance, and provides training to ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.
Logistics Coordination – Liaises with other departments and customers regarding requirements for outward goods and associated forwarding transportation.
Stock Control – Monitors and reviews storage and inventory systems to meet supply requirements and control stock levels.
Record Keeping – Operates recording systems to track all movements of supplies and finished goods, ensuring optimal re-ordering and re-stocking times.
Quality Assurance – Prepares and implements plans to maintain required stock levels at minimum cost while meeting quality, cost, and delivery requirements.
