Job Title: Software Development Professional
FinXL is seeking a dynamic individual to join their team as a Software Development Professional. This role will involve working on-site in the CBD of Sydney, collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, build and roll-out products that deliver the company's vision and strategy.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in software development, excellent communication skills, and a strong understanding of code quality and testing.
Responsibilities:
Contribute to agile methodologies, including standups, card kick-offs, walkthroughs, and showcases.
Develop high-quality, maintainable code that meets acceptance criteria and is unit tested.
Maintain a 'green build light' for continuous integration builds and react quickly to build failures.
Liaise with business stakeholders and testers on technical design decisions.
Prioritize and complete story development based on Jira backlog.
Create and maintain documentation on code and design decisions.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
At least 2 years of experience in software development.
Strong knowledge of coding principles and practices.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
