Job Title: Software Development Professional

Software Development Professional

We are seeking a skilled software development professional to join our team. In this role, you will be working on all aspects of software development, focusing on end-to-end software development with some lead duties.

  • This is an exciting opportunity to work in the government sector, contributing to an extensive program of work.
  • The ideal candidate will have 5 years of experience as a software developer, with expertise in Java and Scala application development, Tomcat, JBoss, Web Servers – Apache, IIS etc., API experience, Elastic search, SQL or NoSQL databases, and ideally Kubernetes.

The successful candidate will be offered a contract role with an initial duration of 12 months, with daily rates based on their skills and experience. There are extensions expected as well.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software solutions.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.
  • Collaborate with other developers to identify and implement best practices.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and technologies.

Necessary Skills and Qualifications:

  • 5 years of experience as a software developer.
  • Expertise in Java and Scala application development.
  • Tomcat, JBoss, Web Servers – Apache, IIS etc.
  • API experience.
  • Elastic search, SQL or NoSQL databases.
  • Ideal experience in Kubernetes.
