Leading the Safety Team, this newly created role will report to the Manager Health, Safety, Environment and Training
- and is designed to develop, implement and maintain effective HSE systems and processes for the Perilya Broken Hill
- operations. In this key leadership position, the Health and Safety Superintendent will be responsible for;- Providing quality documentation and training tools to company standards, national standards and industry best
- practice- Implementing training and assessment materials to meet the needs of the operation
- Encouraging Managers and Supervisors to coach and mentor people in their team
- Facilitating audits to ensure the quality of training, assessments and task observations to assess the effectiveness of

the processes.

**What will you bring? **

Proven leadership experience in a senior safety leadership (or similar) role

Qualification in Auditing

Certificate IV Training and Assessing

Experience in a mining operation

Qualified in Drug and Alcohol Testing Course (HLTPAT005)

Sound proficiency in the use of MS Suite (Outlook, Word & Excel)
