The **Component Manager **is responsible for component campaign planning, modifications, repair and warranty, planning and operation of all aircraft parts under contract in support of the Qantas mainline fleet. This is achieved through the development of forecasts, supply planning, inventory optimisation and order recommendations for aircraft spare parts.

You will liaise with QE Integrated Planning to ensure forecast plans are accurate and with purchasing, freight, warehousing and event management to ensure that plans are executed effectively. The position will seek to identify and implement demand supply planning process improvement initiatives.

Additionally, you will be responsible for leading the development and execution of supply chain network planning processes. The position will develop planning processes to provide greater insight and drive decision making that prioritises our customer and cost to the business. In addition, the position will lead our Integrated Business Planning (IBP) and develop strategy and processes to deliver informed cross functional business decision making.

**You'll have -**
- Strong Supply Chain experience preferably in planning and inventory management
- Degree qualifications in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business or related degree
- Relevant experience with long term planning, capacity planning and supply network optimisation
- Strong collaboration and communication abilities
- Ability to effectively lead and motivate a large team
- Proven experience in identifying and deploying process improvements
- Highly motivated and results driven
- Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills
- Superior analytical and data skills
- Strong business and commercial acumen
- Ability to think critically in complex situations, deal with ambiguity and think laterally to problem solve
- A solid understanding of the wider supply chain processes
