Job Description

We are seeking skilled metal fabricators to join our team for a casual ongoing opportunity. This role involves fabricating, assembling, and welding metal components according to customer specifications.

Fabrication Details:

  • Fabricate, assemble, and weld stainless steel, mild steel, and aluminium components.
  • Operate workshop machinery, including lathes, press brakes, plate benders, and plasma cutters.
  • Perform TIG, MIG, and aluminium welding to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities

We are looking for an individual who can read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to determine project requirements.

  • Inspect and test fabricated products to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Work on-site for installations and maintenance when required.
  • Maintain a clean and organised workspace.
  • Be able to manage a team if supplied to you on larger projects.
  • Work autonomously without supervision.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess a trade qualification in metal fabrication, boiler making, or a related field.

  • Experience in TIG, MIG, or aluminium welding.
  • Proficiency in operating fabrication machinery.
  • Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
