Sponsorship Opportunity Early Childhood Educator

Shorebreakers Kindergarten is an long day care centre located in the picturesque town of Pambula, close to famous tourist destinies Merimbula and Eden on the far south coast of NSW. Since 2001, we have been providing excellent early childhood education and care programs for children ranging in age from 6 weeks to 6 years. Shorebreakers is a 60 place centre and is a wonderful environment for all children, families and staff. We have 4 classrooms, including Babies, Toddlers, Transition to Pre-School and Pre-School. We invite and welcome family and community input and involvement.

Our programs are play-based, child-led programs, guided by the EYLF, the Department of Education Regulations and the National Quality Standards. We honour diversity and inclusion. Our service is well resourced both indoors and outdoors, and we have an outdoor learning space second to none in the local area.

We are open from 7am to 6pm and require our successful applicants to be flexible with their shifts within these times.

To be considered for these roles you must have the following:
**Essential Criteria**
- You must be able to commute to work in Pambula (if you don't know where Pambula is or don't plan to relocate, please don't apply)
- Current Certificate III and/or Diploma of Children's services or working towards.
- If you are looking to learn ECEC under a traineeship, we may have a spot for you too.
- Current First Aid, Anaphylaxis and Asthma certificate.
- Current Working with children check.
- Good working knowledge of the NQS and EYLF.
- Understanding of the National Regulations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Teamwork ethos
- Passionate about working with children and families in an early years settings

Pay: $23.34 - $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 - 38 per week
