About the role The Clinical Risk Business Partner will be a crucial member of Quality and Clinical team, bringing strong incident management, in particular management of complaints and serious incident reporting (SIRS) experience along with the ability to manage investigations and work collaboratively with stakeholders across the business.
In this newly created role, you'll be responsible for monitoring compliance across a number of clinical risk areas, ensuring robust processes are maintained and providing training and support to home leaders.
This position can be based out of NSW, QLD, SA or VIC and occasional travel to our residential aged care homes across all states will be required.
The responsibilities we will trust you with Identify and escalate risks and support regular reporting on compliance matters and clinical indicators Demonstrate knowledge and skills in responding to complaints and reporting incidents in accordance with the serious incident reporting scheme Build knowledge and capability of home leaders in clinical government processes and provide training and support Assist in reviews of responses to external requests and proactively partner with other organisational support services Foster a positive risk identification environment to promote a strong risk and compliance culture What you'll bring A clinical background and at least 5 years' experience in incident or investigation management in a highly regulated industry You'll be a strong and engaging communicator with demonstrated experience implementing and managing governance, risk and compliance activities Demonstrated experience in successfully responding to risk and governance issues and experience leading in complex environments Highly analytical skills along with a structured and driven approach.
