The Business Intelligence Specialist will provide technical expertise and guidance in the architecture, design and development of data transformation, data warehousing, reporting and analytics, using SAP and Microsoft Business Intelligence toolsets. They will ensure operational effectivity and the successful processing of intra and inter day data transformations, ensuring the integrity of the Data Lake and Enterprise Data Warehouse and the availability of the Business Intelligence suite, as well as the continual evaluation of new and enhanced Business Intelligence technology, to ensure the BI product suite provides the most effective enabler for Business Intelligence objectives.
Key is fostering relationships with internal customers, to ensure outcomes are focused and service driven.
**Your Impact**:
Work with the ICT Manager - Data & BI and stakeholders to establish and articulate a vision and strategy for Business Intelligence, which supports the strategic direction and objectives of the business.
Ensure platform is robust and data is accurate and timely with appropriate remediation when required.
Provide technical expertise and guidance in the architecture, design and development of data transformation, data warehousing, reporting and analytics, using SAP and Microsoft Business Intelligence toolsets.
Provide input into the formulation of capital and operating budgets.
Assist ICT Manager - Data & BI in managing operational and capital expenses within the BI and Data domain.
Prioritise data requests with consideration of the value of the information and relative return on investment, both social and operational returns.
Establish and manage the means for automated provision and validation of external information from multiple sources.

**You'll bring to the table**:
A minimum of 7 years' experience, in a senior BI development or consultant role.
Solid experience delivering multiple projects at technical lead level.
Minimum 7 years, hands on experience developing solutions using BI product suites (with preference to SAP and Microsoft) and developing ETL procedures (with preference to BODS and ADF).
Strong SQL and DAX skills
Strong foundation in IT Architecture.
Excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to communicate technology issues and solutions in a manner non-technical people can understand, as well as building effective business relationships
Experience in RAD and Agile methodologies.
