Following the completion of a comprehensive Strategic Review in May 2024, it was announced that Perpetual Limited will become a standalone Asset Management business, and has entered into an agreement with an affiliate of Kohlberg Kravis Roberts (KKR) who will acquire the Corporate Trust and Wealth Management businesses.

Our corporate trust business is a leading provider of fiduciary and digital solutions to the banking and financial services industry in Australia and Singapore. It administers securitisation portfolios, investment and debt structures to protect the interests of our clients' investors. Corporate trust supports clients locally and overseas with a unique offering through five key service offerings: Debt Market Services; Managed Fund Services; Perpetual Asia, headquartered in Singapore; Perpetual Digital, and Laminar Capital.

The Fixed Income Custody team has recently reached a level of funds under custody of $3.0 billion. We require an additional resource due to current and anticipated growth of the Custody Fixed Interest product offering and the associated administrative tasks, and to assist with processing higher than anticipated trading volumes by existing fixed income clients. The Client Service Officer will assist with the settlement and reconciliation process for a portfolio of clients where custody services are provided to clients holding a variety of Fixed Interest Securities in Euroclear and Austraclear.

About the Role

Join our dynamic team at Perpetual Corporate Trust As an Client Services Officer, you will:
- First point of contact across client portfolio.- Portfolio will focus on Fixed Interest Securities and Floating Rate Notes held on behalf Fixed Interest Custody clients.- Ongoing daily reconciliation of fixed income holdings between Euroclear & Austraclear and Treasury Direct.- Ongoing daily reconciliation of cash clearing accounts.- Daily preparation of settlement instructions to Payments and Cash Management teams.- Assist with testing and sample provisions across internal and external control testing and audits.- Assist other team members with workload, as required.- Assist with custody teaM/Fixed interest team specific projects, as required.

About you

We're looking for someone with:
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar client service role is preferred.- Prior experience in custody, securitisation, or fixed income is highly advantageous.- Knowledge of regulatory, contractual, and operational aspects of the custody business.- Proficiency in Excel at an intermediate level.- Capability to meet deadlines and work within tight timeframes.- Strong communication skills for liaising with clients.- Maintain robust relationships with both internal and external clients and contacts.- Ability to multitask effectively across various responsibilities and ensure completion of each.- Provide support to management in client and process-related tasks.
