Job Opportunity: Senior Abinitio Engineer
We are seeking an experienced Senior Abinitio Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in data engineering and ETL principles, with expertise in Unix/Linux, Ab Initio and other data integration tools and frameworks.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead technical troubleshooting activity and provide mentorship to junior team members.
Develop and deploy high quality software solutions with comprehensive test coverage.
Estimate development effort for new features.
Contribute to delivering data engineering/ETL solutions using Unix/Linux, Ab Initio and other data integration tools and frameworks.
Requirements:
Solid hands-on experience of data engineering/ETL principles and practices with Unix/Linux, Ab Initio and other data integration tools and frameworks.
Confidence in coding, design, debugging and problem-solving skills.
Ability to mentor and provide technical assistance to team members.
Hands-on programming experience of 8-12 years in Ab Initio related products and shell scripting.
Experience with RDBMS (Oracle) and using SQL or other data integration/ETL tools.
CI/CD concepts and ability to create pipelines in Jenkins, TeamCity, Ab Initio EME.
Coding - Python, Java.
DevOps and production support.
