Program Manager - Cyber Security Uplift (Essential 8)
9 Month Contract + Extensions | Brisbane CBD | Large Commercial Organisation
We are seeking an experiencedProgram Managerto lead a critical cyber uplift program focused on theAustralian Cyber Security Centre's Essential 8.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a large, complex commercial organisation and drive a high-impact initiative that will strengthen security maturity and resilience across the business.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the delivery of a cyber uplift program centred around Essential 8 compliance and maturity uplift.
Manage program scope, timelines, governance, reporting, and stakeholder engagement.
Work closely with security, technology, and business leaders to ensure alignment and successful implementation of controls.
Oversee program resources, budgets, and risks, ensuring outcomes are delivered to a high standard.
Provide clear and regular updates to senior leadership and executive stakeholders.
Foster collaboration across multiple teams and vendors to ensure consistent delivery.
Skills & Experience:
Proven experience as a Program Manager within large, complex organisations.
Strong background inCyber Security programs(preferably Essential 8 or similar frameworks).
Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills, including reporting at executive level.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple streams of work with competing priorities.
Solid understanding of governance, risk management, and regulatory requirements.
Experience in driving change across both technology and business functions.
