Cyber Uplift Program Manager

Drive security maturity and resilience across a large commercial organisation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the delivery of a cyber uplift program centred around Essential 8 compliance.
  • Manage program scope, timelines, governance, reporting, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Work closely with security, technology, and business leaders to ensure alignment and successful implementation of controls.
  • Oversee program resources, ensuring outcomes are delivered to a high standard.
  • Provide clear and regular updates to senior leadership and executive stakeholders.
  • Foster collaboration across multiple teams and vendors to ensure consistent delivery.
Skills & Experience:
  • Proven experience as a Program Manager within large, complex organisations.
  • Strong background in Cyber Security programs (preferably Essential 8 or similar frameworks).
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills, including reporting at executive level.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple streams of work with competing priorities.
  • Solid understanding of governance, risk management, and regulatory requirements.
  • Experience in driving change across both technology and business functions.

The ideal candidate will possess strong programme management skills, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of cyber security principles.

They will be able to lead cross-functional teams, drive results-oriented projects, and foster collaborative relationships with stakeholders.
