We are currently seeking to employ a motivated and active 2IC Service leader who will inspire enthusiasm in this rewarding leadership role along. The leadership team is made up of a Program Leader and Co-Leader (Assistant Coordinator). This is a permanent part time role of 25 to 38 hours per week.

School Plus are specialists in providing high quality Outside School Hours Care Services to children across South East Queensland. The primary role of the Assistant Coordinator will be to support and collaboratively work with the Coordinator, and to assist in overseeing the development, implementation and evaluation of the daily routines and programs with the children. You will be involved in mentoring and leading a team of educators.

To be successful, you will need:

- Proven leadership experience in OSHC or Childcare industry to support a team of passionate educators with an emphasis on collaboration, communication, empowerment and engagement
- Programming /educational leadership experience and an understanding of the National Quality Framework
- The highest level of initiative: we would love someone who sees an opportunity and takes it
- Strong inter-personal skills: Possess excellent verbal and written communications skills and well-developed emotional intelligence.

The successful applicant should also possess:

- Hold or be working towards a Diploma or Tertiary qualifications in relevant field (or equivalent).
- A current First Aid, Anaphylaxis, Asthma and CPR Certificate or be willing to obtain;
- A current Blue Card (Working with Children Check).

Hours of work are varied and include split shifts during term time:

- 6.15am - 9.00am Before School Care
- 2.30pm - 6.00pm - After School Care
- Various shifts during Vacation Care
- Plus, additional administration and planning time
