We are driven by passion and purpose, and we never stop.What we offerCompetitive salary above industry standards.Upskilling, training, mentoring and more to support your career development journey.Fun and practical employee perks and discountsPurchased leave and novated lease optionsAbout the RoleTeam Global Express is seeking a Labourer / Dockhand (Tarmac) to commence immediately at our Brisbane Airport LocationThis is a Full Time Permanent Role, Monday to Friday at $31.45/hourMon-Thurs will be 30% shift loading, Sunday will be double payResponsibilitiesLoad and unload vehicles (aircraft / trucks / vans / etc.) as required (manually by hand and with forklift where applicable)Load and unload aircraft containers as required (manually by hand and by forklift)Perform driving duties both on-airport and off-airport as required (MR truck driving on-airport and off-airport, mainly MR truck runs between our depot locations around the Airport area)Handle freight in a manner that will avoid injury to yourself or othersHandle freight in a manner that will prevent damage to goods in our careEnsure freight is sorted accurately in line with defined sort requirementsPalletise / cage items neatly and shrink wrap as requiredStack goods as required in a neat and safe mannerEnsure freight is positioned on conveyors in the correct manner, ensure items are positioned so barcodes can be read where this is requiredRemove damaged cartons or containers from conveyors and repair promptly or escalate issuePlace goods on conveyors only if they are compliant in terms of size, shape, weight and labelling requirementsEnsure Dangerous Goods are handled in accordance with required proceduresEnsure barcode scanning where required is done accuratelyIdentify banned freight and bring it to the attention of your supervisorEnsure documents that accompany freight are kept with the relevant freightEnsure freight allocated for delivery is delivered effectively and in a consistent and timely mannerEnsure you arrive in time to start your shift at the designated start timeWhat you'll bringYou will hold a Current MR Truck Licence & Forklift Ticket (Required)You will be able to follow instructions and work both as part of a team and independentlyYou must have Full Rights to work in AustraliaYou must have a high attention and focus towards SafetyOur recruitment processApplying for a job starts with an online application form, from there you may be invited to complete an online assessment followed by a virtual or in person interview.
