Responsibilities
In the role of High Voltage Specialist, duties include:
Performs routine preventive maintenance and repairs on standard equipment.
Constructs and installs system components, equipment, and fixtures.
Diagnoses and troubleshoots faults in installations.
Makes modifications to a variety of devices using standard test equipment.
Adheres to safety procedures when working with electricity.
Measures and controls electrical parameters.
Prepares technical documentation.
Requirements
Must be a US or Australian citizen
Must have a US TS/SCI clearance w/ Poly, or an Australian PV clearance
Must have a minimum of five years of experience working with medium and high voltages
Must possess a Union/Utility MV and HV certifications, or the Australian equivalent
Must be knowledgeable of operating/maintaining switch gears, transformers, isolation breakers
This role will be located in Alice Springs, at a 4,400-acre facility with approximately 687,000 square feet of mission and support space.
This position is expected to be onsite 100%.
