This Government client requires a suitably qualified Policy Officer to join their team on a casual basis for 6 months. This position is responsible for providing support to the Quality Assurance team, with duties including:

- Drafting briefings, correspondence, and possible parliamentary questions;
- Drafting responses to requests for information from the Executive team;
- Analysing initiatives from both both internal and external departments to determine their infrastructure implications;
- coordinating programs and projects;
- promoting and maintaining strong relationships across the Department.

To be successful, you will demonstrate your strong writing and editing skills and have an excellent eye for detail. You will be enthusiastic and able to quickly adapt to using new systems. Previous experience drafting Ministerial correspondence and briefings is an advantage. You will also show your high level interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise with both internal and extrnal stakeholders.
