**What's the role?**

You will be a self-starter with a good contact book and a natural knack for producing engaging and snappy copy.
- Sourcing and creating compelling journalism that is relevant across multiple platforms
- Connect with existing and new readers across multiple platforms
- Work under deadline pressure in a fast paced newsroom
- Have proven skills in writing for social media audiences and for search
- Deliver unique content, drive conversation and socially-engage our readers
- You will be required to work the occasional weekend shift, and must be comfortable working independently.

**Who are you?**
- Previous reporting and newsroom experience
- Experience writing quality journalism to tight deadlines
- Able to produce engaging and snappy copy
- Solid digital experience
- Strong interview skills and news judgement
- You are a team player with excellent communication skills and knowledge of an extensive range of topics.
