**About the Company**

This is an exciting opportunity for a Media and Communications Manager to join a NSW Organisation based in Sydney CBD/WFH on a 11 month contract.

**About the Role**
- Develop and deliver proactive media strategies that align and the Department communications with the Government's position, including proactive media.
- Develop effective solutions and strategic communications and engagement strategies to manage innovative processes that provide high value.
- Provide expert advice and information to senior executive stakeholders on emerging issues and present recommendations to support delivery of strategies in line with established plans, timeframes and other priorities.
- Work collaboratively with Ministerial Offices and the executive cohort to develop effective media and corporate strategies, ensuring consistency in messaging and alignment with the Government's strategic position on identified issues and objectives.
- Develop relationships with state-wide, national and industry focused media agencies to ensure the Department's position on key initiatives, policies, regulatory reforms and programs and operational activities is communicated.
- Manage, oversee and review communication content for Ministers Offices, including, briefing documents, media releases and responses, speeches and FAQs

**About You**
- Media and Communications experience within Government (2 years +)
- Proven record to Develop and Deliver proactive media strategies
- Excellent communication skills with stakeholders
