You will lead a small team to achieve production goals while operating machinery safely and efficiently.
More about our facility here: have three roles available.Day shift position6am-2.30pm Monday to Thursday6am-12noon FridayMain duties will include but not limited to:Lead and supervise your line team to meet production targets while maintaining a safe work environmentOperate state of the art chocolate moulding lines, including enrobing, depositing, mixing fillings and tempering chocolateTake responsibility for end-to-end machine operations, ensuring quality control and GMP guidelines are metOrganise packing staff at end-of-line packing stationsFollow set recipes and methods to create chocolates to specificationMix and blend ingredients to prepare fillings for depositingFollow and execute production schedulesPerform consistent heavy lifting of up to 25kg throughout shiftsComplete machine clean down and line changeovers efficientlyMaintain accurate paperwork and traceability recordsMonitor stock levels and place orders when requiredTo be successful in this role you will have:Previous experience in a manufacturing environment, ideally food or FMCGProven leadership or team leader experience within productionStrong technical and mechanical aptitudeExcellent problem-solving skills and a quick learning attitudeAbility to perform frequent heavy lifting and manual handling tasksHigh level of attention to detail and commitment to quality standardsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to keep your work area clean, organised and compliant with food safety standards (we maintain the highest level BRC accreditation)A can-do attitude with punctuality and reliabilityOnly candidates withunrestricted rightsto work in Australia will be considered for this position.This is an excellent opportunity for those with operator experience, so if you would like to know more about this role and the wonderful world of Koko Black, apply now.
