- **Permanent** / Ongoing role
- Immediate Start with **opportunity for overtime** in line with production demand
- Experience with **extrusion / polymer processing** would be an advantage
- **Forklift license** preferred

We are recognised as a world leader in the research, development and manufacture of advanced polymer fabrics and coated paper.

Based at our Braeside facility, our operators are the creators of category leading coated fabrics and paper for use in the agriculture, landscape, mining and packaging industries.

We are searching for Machine Operators to join our established team, enhance our collective skill set and to bring their experiences to Gale Pacific.

**The role of a Machine Operator would require you to**:

- Follow all Health Safety & Environment (HSE) and operating policies & procedures contributing to our safe working environment and culture
- Collaborate and communicate effectively with the operations and broader team
- Operate machinery and equipment to safely produce high-quality products
- Follow instructions from experience operators and line leaders to deliver the production requirements as a team
- Follow the requirements of our Quality Management System, identify errors and contribute to troubleshooting
- Utilise computer based operating systems, material handling equipment (MHE) including forklifts, pallet jacks and roll lifting aids
- Consolidate and manage order fulfilment, pack and despatch to meet customer demand
- Forklift license is preferred

As part of the GALE Pacific's recruitment process successful applicants may be asked to complete online or site based aptitude testing and will be asked to complete a pre-employment medical including Fitness for Duties and Drug & Alcohol test.
