Position Overview

Design, Industrial Technology, and Engineering

The Role

Whether you're guiding students through design thinking, hands-on fabrication, or engineering principles, you'll be helping them develop critical skills for the future.
Selection Criteria
Demonstrated experience teaching in one or more of the following areas:
Design, Industrial Technology, Engineering
.
Strong understanding of both
ACARA
and
QCAA syllabuses
, assessment requirements, and curriculum planning.
Proven ability to deliver engaging, differentiated, and evidence-based teaching practices that support student learning and achievement.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
A passion for education and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment that supports both academic and personal development.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team, contribute to faculty planning, and adapt to the evolving needs of the College.
Eligibility Requirements
All teachers are expected to have a current registration with the
Queensland College of Teachers (QCT).
