This important role will be based in Narrabri, NSW.We currently have 3 positions available and these roles are offered on a residential or DIDO basis.
Relocation assistance can be made available to candidates looking to move to the area.What You'll DoCarry out repairs and preventative maintenance work on underground mining equipmentMaintain plant availability through inspections, fault finding, diagnosis and remediation actions.Report on defects and update maintenance and production logsComplete planned and routine maintenance as per schedule.Provide input into root cause analysis and subsequent resolution of issues affecting equipment reliability.What You'll BringAustralian Recognised Mechanical Trade QualificationMinimum 12-months experience working in an underground mineExperience working on mining or heavy earthmoving machineryMust demonstrate a personal commitment to safetyAbility to work rotating shifts – day, night and afternoonWhy Whitehaven Coal?
