**About Redpath**

The Redpath Group is a leading mining contractor with projects throughout Australia and the globe.

We specialise in shaft sinking, mine development, contract mining, raiseboring, underground construction, coal, engineering & technical services and speciality services.

**The role involves**
- Leading a workshop team of tradespersons and apprentices and general-purpose employees.
- Manage all maintenance activities in the Brisbane workshop including - commissioning of plant and equipment for projects, repairs and rebuilds of equipment, mobilisation of projects, coordination of field service personnel and apprentices to support our sites.
- Continuous improvement activities to assist the business in achieving targets and ongoing availability of plant and equipment.

**We are looking for**
- Mechanical trade qualification;
- A high level of competence using JDE CMMS
- experience working with underground mining equipment;
- valid manual drivers licence;
- minimum of 5 years mechanical experience in an underground mining environment;
- experience with managing a team of maintenance employees;
- qualifications in Incident Cause Analysis Measures (ICAM) or equivalent highly desired;
- A positive work ethic and attitude in keeping with Redpath's motto, **Consider it done — safely**.
