Job Overview
The position reports directly to the General Manager, Integrity Operations and Policy. Working in a multi-disciplinary environment the Manager, Inspections and Monitoring leads a small team to assess statutory compliance of bodies permitted to use covert investigative powers and the review of statutory notifications from integrity bodies on their use of coercive powers.
The position is also responsible for monitoring and advising on integrity bodies' policies, procedures and practice, as well as undertaking policy research and preparing parliamentary submissions on issues impacting the integrity system.
While there is a level of flexibility with working arrangements, the role of Manager, Inspections and Monitoring is predominantly performed in the office due to the need to access sensitive information which is stored securely on an air gapped network.
