Constant learning, skill growth, great benefits, and a team that supports your success.What you will doAs a key part of Sovereign Cloud Delivery, Cloud Application Services (CAS) aims to provide customers with a seamless experience by simplifying cloud application management.We are seeking a CAS Basis Consultant (f/m/d) to help shape and manage our journey towards a unified, competitive business in the regulated industry, focusing on cloud application management support services.
Reporting to the Head of Global Cloud Application Services, you will provide technical expertise across systems and applications in the cloud for the global CAS sovereign cloud unit, ensuring seamless delivery of cloud support services for private and public clouds.Your responsibilities include enabling and mentoring delivery teams, maintaining SAP landscapes, resolving incidents, acting as a trusted point between CAS and SAP solutions, and supporting customer incidents and requests.The ideal candidate has relevant experience from customer projects or support engagements, can work autonomously, lead or participate in initiatives, and aim to increase CAS adoption, customer satisfaction, and revenue.This role may require shift work or out-of-hours support for incidents, upgrades, and deployments.What you bringQualifications and SkillsMinimum 10+ years SAP technical administration with SAP Basis expertise, including setup, administration, and operations.Experience supporting presales, solution proposals, and bid management.Trusted advisor for Sovereign Cloud customers, with a focus on TCO reduction and ROI optimization.Experience leading Basis support transitions.Willingness to work from SAP's secure facilities on a shift basis.Ability to coordinate with teams and stakeholders.Business knowledge of SaaS, PaaS, IaaS, SAP's cloud offerings, and market insights.Fluent in English, spoken and written.Technical SkillsSAP-certified in NetWeaver and/or S/4HANA system administration preferred.Experience with SAP S/4HANA, SAP PO, Solution Manager, BW, Webdispatcher, Cloud Connector, HANA DB, ECC, GRC, IDM, Fiori, BOBJ, DS, etc.Supporting SAP SaaS products like Ariba, SuccessFactors, Fieldglass, Concur.Knowledge of Business Technology Platform and Basis support functions.Proficiency in SAP Basis tasks: certificate management, system refresh, performance tuning, transport management, SSL, encryption, SNC/SAML, system integration, load balancing, and maintenance tools.Understanding of hyperscaler deployment methods (AWS, Azure, GCP).
