Bring your leadership experience and sales expertise to a growing, design-led Australian business.
We are seeking a proven sales leader with at least 3–5 years' experience in a leadership OR management role.
This is an exciting opportunity to take charge of a high-performing team while building strong relationships with trade and retail customers across the building and architectural sectors.
Working closely with senior management, your role is key in driving growth, mentoring team members, and influencing business strategy.
You will initially take a hands-on approach, learning the business from the ground up while strengthening client relationships.
With this foundation, you will be well-positioned to step into a Sales Manager role.
Your Key Responsibilities:
Manage an existing national portfolio of builders, architects, and specifiers
Respond to inbound sales enquiries, prepare quotes, and follow up with precision
Use your technical aptitude to interpret plans and deliver tailored solutions
Work cross-functionally with Marketing and Operations to support strategic initiatives
Represent the business at industry events, trade shows, and client meetings
Lead and inspire a committed, stable sales team, fostering accountability and collaboration
What You'll Bring:
Minimum 3–5 years experience in sales or account management, (trade, construction or manufacturing preferred)
Proven experience in a leadership or management role
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Demonstrated ability to coach, guide and motivate a sales team
Experience working with technical or construction-based products
Ability to read and interpret architectural or technical drawings
Confident using CRM systems and contributing to business improvement
A desire to transition into a senior leadership role and help shape the future of the company
