This role is an Australia-based, fully work-from-home position, with access to co-working spaces in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane.

Montu's Corporate Communications Manager will play a critical role in supporting our Corporate Affairs, Medical Affairs and Government Relations teams.

This role will form an integral part of the communications team responsible for executing proactive communication initiatives to drive our Corporate Affairs & Patient Advocacy strategy across external channels.

This role is ideal for a talented and dynamic communicator who thrives in a fast-paced, purpose-driven environment, ideally someone who has experience in the health sector.

You will help raise awareness of a range of initiatives that support our strategic corporate affairs priorities and contribute to maintaining our social licence to operate.

Responsibilities include developing and implementing external communication strategies aligned with Montu's corporate affairs strategy that best communicate the impact we are having across both patient and industry outcomes.

Among the key deliverables include developing communications assets such as media materials, talking points, opinion pieces, and media briefing materials as well as preparing spokespeople for media engagements.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Develop and execute external communication strategies aligned with Montu's Corporate Affairs objectives.
- Develop content across a range of formats including media releases, op-eds, speeches, Q&As, briefing notes, talking points, LinkedIn and other social media content, and stakeholder communications.
- Collaborate closely with colleagues across the business including in the Government Relations and Medical Affairs to ensure consistency of messaging across channels.
- Develop and proactively share ideas to help build Montu's profile amongst key stakeholder groups - including healthcare, government, patient associations and NFPs.
- Support media engagements including developing media assets, preparing spokespeople, and managing proactive media opportunities.
- Work with internal stakeholders to ensure the strategic alignment of communication initiatives and materials with broader organisational objectives.
- Monitor media, stakeholder and industry trends to identify reputational opportunities and risks.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with media contacts and key opinion leaders where appropriate.

**Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)**
- Deliver on individual and set departmental OKR and KPIs as determined each quarter.

**Continuous Improvement, Safety and Compliance**
- Track and learn from successes and setbacks and continuously improve on identified baseline metrics.
- Actively participate in training and professional development.
- Adhere to all regulatory compliance requirements governing the sector.

**Qualifications**
- Minimum 5 years' experience in communications, media, or corporate affairs roles.
- Experience in healthcare, digital health, telehealth, pharmaceuticals, or highly regulated industries is highly desirable.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.
- Proven ability to develop compelling content tailored for different channels and audiences.
- Strong understanding of the Australian media landscape and public affairs environment.
- Experience working in regulated environments and strong understanding of compliance requirements in the health sector is desirable.
- Demonstrated experience in managing multiple projects and deadlines with a solutions-oriented mindset.
- Confidence working cross-functionally and influencing internal stakeholders at all levels.
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, or a related discipline.
