We encourage Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Australians and people of culturally diverse backgrounds to apply.The RoleWe are seeking a Commissioning Engineer - Electrical to join our Melbourne team, supporting projects across various markets, primarily in the Mission Critical sector.
This role offers opportunities for growth and learning within a supportive team environment.Key Responsibilities:Manage the commissioning process, including technical assessments, developing plans, schedules, reports, checklists, and test scripts.Provide technical advice to clients regarding project and operational risks.Collaborate with general contractors to develop commissioning strategies aligned with project objectives.Manage factory tests, inspections, and reporting.Participate in project meetings and manage detailed recording of meetings and progress.Maintain data in commissioning software and prepare progress and close-out reports.Coordinate third-party sign-offs and review commissioning documentation.Preferred Qualifications:Experience in commissioning or facility engineering, ideally in the Data Centre sector.Experience with equipment inspections and Factory Acceptance Tests.Required Qualifications:At least 4 years of experience in mechanical, electrical, and controls disciplines.Proven leadership in commissioning efforts from design to project completion.Knowledge of building systems (HVAC, electrical, mechanical, controls) and a passion for sustainability.Willingness to travel to site locations.Strong troubleshooting, report writing, and operational knowledge.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and a valid driver's license.We are committed to employment equity and encourage applicants from diverse backgrounds to apply.
