Our client a well regarded and established national multisite liquor retailer is looking for a strong, savvy retail specialist to join their head office team in Sydney. This role will report into the State Manager, and as part of a larger team you will all work collaboratively in delivering the State budget.

You will be responsible for providing support and engaging with a diverse range of retailers to develop, negotiate and execute strategic business plans in relation to products and promotions to ensure their success.

You will do this by maintaining and developing business relationships with decision makers throughout your key accounts and providing the retailers with business solutions, identifying local opportunities and developing initiatives to further build sales and profitability for growth.

**Responsibilities**:

- Developing and maintaining business relationships across retailers
- Develop and execute joint business plans for retailers
- Drive offers linked to premium brands and/or NPD
- Ensure performance to targets for distribution and promotional activities
- Deliver on core ranges, programs and products
- Contribute to actively growing the profitability for the state
- Identify local market opportunities and develop initiatives accordingly
- Manage the chain of activity from opportunity identification, to execution
- Working in collaboration with Marketing and Trade activations
