**Are you a compassionate and reliable caregiver looking to make a difference in someone's life?**

We are seeking female support worker to join our team, assisting a client in Banksia Beach with personal care needs.

**About the Role**:

- Provide personal care support, including showering, dressing, and toileting (manual handling training provided).
- Assist the client with transfers using a standing hoist (moving to a full hoist in the future).
- Be a patient listener and engage in friendly conversation, keeping the client company.
- Assist with occasional outings and errands, using the client's modified vehicle (license required).
- Work collaboratively with the client's informal support but needs some assistance.
- Are a kind, compassionate, and reliable individual.
- Have experience providing personal care support.
- Are a good listener and enjoy friendly conversation.
- Are physically fit and able to complete manual transfers.
- Hold a current driver's license.
- Experience working with Muscular Dystrophy or Motor Neurone Disease is a plus.

**Must Be available**:
21st of December to 24th of December

**Please note**: This position requires:

- Current open QLD driver license.
- Current First Aid & CPR certificates.
- NDIS worker orientation certificate.
- NDIS worker screening/WWCC (Blue Card)
- Minimum of Cert III in disability or individual support, or
- A minimum of 12 months relevant industry experience working with clients with disability and mental health.
- A person-centred approach.
- Excellent communication skills

Pay: $35.00 - $61.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 8 per week
