**The Opportunity**
We are seeking a **Head of Operations** with a strong background in mining operations. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient execution of our various underground and open cut mining projects. As the Head of Operations, you will oversee multiple operations, working closely with cross-functional teams to achieve operational excellence. Your strategic vision, leadership, and ability to streamline processes will be critical to our success.

**What the role entails**
- Provide vision, strategic leadership and direction to achieve operational targets and objectives
- Create and execute operational strategies aligned with the organisational goals.
- Supervise and manage operational teams, ensuring they meet company objectives.
- Design and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and performance.
- Assess and manage risks related to operational efficiency.
- Work closely with executive leadership to make high-impact operational decisions.
- Actively participate in establishing practices, and policies, and lead continuous improvement initiatives/strategies.
- Motivate and manage a team of professionals, cultivating an encouraging workplace and supporting staff progression.

**What you will need**
- Relevant qualifications in mining, engineering, geology or similar
- Proven track record in mining operations management.
- Extensive site-based expertise in underground and open-cut operations
- Demonstrated continuous and strong leadership abilities and developing high-performing teams
- Excellent data analysis and strategic planning abilities.
- Strong ability to build and maintain working relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders.
